Our projects
Change for Syira’s projects aim to empower Syrians and support democratic transformation. Through civic engagement, cultural preservation, and political advocacy, we work to build an inclusive and just future. Our initiatives reflect the voices and experiences of Syrians everywhere.
We believe in local ownership and long-term change. Therefore, we aim through our civil projects to focus on strengthening communities, supporting civil society, and encouraging youth and women to participate in public life. As a result, we help build social cohesion and address the effects of conflict and displacement.
In addition to these efforts, we aim with our cultural projects to preserve Syrian heritage and promote national identity. Culture is not only a reflection of society—it is also a tool for healing, dialogue, and democratic rebuilding. Thus, we collaborate with artists, researchers, and cultural workers to support creativity and community engagement, both inside Syria and in the diaspora.
Furthermore, our political projects advocate for human rights, justice, and democratic values. We help Syrians shape political visions and hold power accountable. Through research, campaigns, and international dialogue, we connect local struggles with global conversations. Moreover, all Change for Syria projects are guided by inclusion, transparency, and collaboration. We partner with a wide network of activists, experts, and community leaders. Consequently, our work stays relevant to the needs and hopes of Syrians today.
Together, we are building alternatives. We are amplifying silenced voices. Most importantly, we are reshaping the Syrian narrative—one rooted in dignity, freedom, and hope.
Syrian Narratives
The "Syrian Narratives" project is a partnership between The Change for Syria Network with "Khazzan, Ma3mal, Thaqafah" that offers a critical platform that challenges dominant histories by amplifying silenced Syrian voices, fostering counter-narratives, and reshaping memory through diverse, decolonial, and community-driven perspectives.

The "Political Compass" test, launched by the Network for Change for Syria and Sawtak Syria, helps users explore their political views—economically (left/right) and socially (liberal/conservative). Sawtak Syria promotes civic engagement and political awareness through interactive, independent tools tailored to the Syrian context.
