Who are we?

The Change for Syria Network (C4S) is an effective network that reflects the aspirations of the people of Syria at home and in the Diaspora. The network focuses on cooperation, transparency, promoting human rights, ensuring freedoms, and preserving Syria’s diverse heritage and identities.

 A democratic, secular Syria founded on the principles of equal citizenship that ensures human rights inside and outside Syria

Our Goals

  • Increasing the participation of those concerned with Syrian affairs in civic, political, and cultural events.
  • Building bridges of communication among networks, individuals, organizations, and Syrian civil societies locally and internationally to promote sustainable political, social, and cultural cooperation.
  • Protecting and promoting Syria’s diverse cultural heritage.
  • Preserving Syrian narratives and experiences.
  • Supporting and guiding initiatives to achieve justice and peace in Syria based on UN resolutions and in line with the network’s vision.
  • Advocate for the rights of the people of Syria at all levels and amplify their voices in decision-making centers.

Network Structure

  • General Assembly: The highest decision-making body composed of all members
  • Steering Committee: Supervises network operations and ensures that they comply with its vision
  • Administrative Committee: Manages day-to-day operations and represents the network externally
  • Advisory Board: Provides strategic guidance and advice.
  • Operational offices: political mandate, civic mandate, cultural mandate
